The Costa de la Luz from Huelva is a natural area that runs from the mouth of the Guadiana River, between the border of Spain and Portugal, to the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, which separates the province of Huelva from that of Cádiz.

In this area there are a series of wide white sand beaches where water, dunes and pine forests come together and combine, offering visitors from a lively atmosphere in fully equipped areas to wild and lonely places.

Ayamonte, Isla Cristina, Lepe, Cartaya, Punta Umbría, Mazagón and Matalascañas constitute the most important coastal nuclei of this coast. Eminently fishing towns that have seen their physiognomy changed by the large influx of tourists.
